And Furthermore, fully half of the Brazillionaires (Erin, Johnny, and Joe) have been involved in not one, but TWO musical theater productions at The Lost Church since we last spoke. You may remember the "Bloody Valentine" show from last February? Well, we followed that up with the next iteration of The Lost Church's Murder Mystery Musical Madness & Mayhem Theater Production: "The Sound of Music, 30 Years After: Von Trapped in the Mansion!" Closing night was August 10th. This wondrous little affair took place at The Lost Church, located at 65 Capp St. in our fair city, just a few footsteps away from 16th and Mission. The Lost Church presents live music Wednesday through Saturday, and it's a hidden gem in the pulsing heart of the city. We've played gigs at the Lost Church many times, and it's always been fantastic. We love The Church, oh yes we do, and it's quite possibly the greatest little venue in the world.... Yeah!! And just now, we're finishing up another theater production at the Lost Church as well, "The Young Frying Rabbit's Traveling Twilight Revue" featuring Erin and Johnny, as well as a few other massively talented performers in starring roles, with Joe on piano. Closing night is November 2nd. It's a remarkable partnership, and it's wonderful to be involved in underground theater in SF. Thank you Lost Church!!
We've also played at The Starry Plough in Berkeley on August 11th at 4pm, located at 3101 Shattuck, and at ye olde Noe Valley Farmer's Market on August 17th at 11:30 am, located at 3861 24th St. in Noe Valley. Thanks for coming out and supporting us; both gigs were all ages! We performed at Amnesia Bar in the Mission on August 31st; it's a great little venue on Valencia St., and we performed with The Yellow Dress, who were sensational. Joe played a bit of Old Timey Piano, too: ragtime and standards on the in-house acoustic piano they have there. Fun! Amnesia is located at 853 Valencia St. b/w 19th and 20th streets.
Upcoming, we've booked a band gig on
