Our recent Kickstarter campaign was successful, and we've released a new album, "The Hitchcock Suite". You can watch a video featuring the first two songs from the suite above! The Hitchcock Suite is the centerpiece of our live performances, and you should be sure to catch us playing it at our next gig. In the meantime, you can pick up our latest recording at one of our shows, or contact us through our Contact Page and we'll even send you a CD or Vinyl Record in the mail, to virtually anywhere in the world.... and we'll be posting new mp3s soon!
Also, we'd like to inform you that The Lost Church concluded it's Indiegogo campaign to raise funds for their impending renovation. They exceeded their goal and raised over $44,000! Woo-hoo! That's pretty amazing when you think about it, and it shows how much love and support there is for the arts here in the Bay Area. And now the Lost Church is going to go dark for three months as they renovate, but they'll be back in September & October, better than ever, and we Brazillionaires will be involved in the Grand re-opening party. And of course, Erin, Johnny, and Joe will certainly be involved in any upcoming Theater Events... Brett has been talking enthusiastically and relentlessly about the next production: "Mummy: The Opera" ...so look out world, 'cus here comes another insane and ridiculous Murder Mystery Madness & Mayhem Magical Mischief Musical!
Speaking of The Lost Church, we played there on May 31st for their closing night fundraiser, and it was awesome, and a bit nostalgic, to play the final night of music and entertainment at the Lost Church before they close their doors for the Summer. The show began with Joe quietly playing some standards and classic tunes as people filtered in and took their seats, then it roared to life with a tasty karaoke sing along, featuring Madonna's "Borderline", Fleetwood Mac's "Landslide", and Phil Collin's "Against All Odds". Then Joe played an original tune to sing along with, "The Lost Church Blues", which he wrote especially for the fundraiser and video. (You can watch the LC video below, at the very bottom of this here HomePage.) Then Roger Oddcock took the stage and did his hilarious show business extravaganza, followed by Juanita & the Rabbit, which is Brett & Lizzie's own little "Lovey-Punk-Rock" duo. After the intermission, it was time for the Brazillionaires to burn down the house, and we played our little hearts out. It was such a fantastic and memorable evening, and we'll miss "Lost Church Classic", as it's been a venue near and dear to our hearts. But we can't wait to see the next incarnation! It'll be grand.
Right-o. Hope all's well with you, feel free to drop us a line on the Contact Page, and we'll see you soon!
