In some very encouraging news, the long and laborious process of converting the parking lot on 24th Street (where the farmer's market is held) into a city park is underway! On Tuesday, The Board of Supervisors approved the plan for the City to buy the lot and for the process of conversion to begin. An actual park is still a couple of years away, realistically, since as we all know, the wheels of civic improvement spin ever so slowly, but the biggest hurdles were overcome in this last month. Someday soon, Noe Valley will have a small park on 24th Street to call it's own. So Hooray for grass roots activism!
And remember, we're touring down to SoCal and Vegas from June 14th til the 24th, so if you happen to be in the sunny southern climes in mid-June, check out the schedule on our Gig Page, and we hope to see you there. Cheers!
